Bootleggers is a place of good old fashioned fun where people can eat, meet and greet and be human again.
Fully licensed bar offering a large selection of Wines, Beers, Whisky, Gin, Cocktails & Good Food – low and slow and vegetarian options available.
Kitchen closes between 8-9pm on a Sunday.

Singer songwriter Jack Nolan has been performing and releasing music and albums since the mid 1990’s. Along with a five-album solo catalogue Jack also fronted The Kelly Gang, with Rick Grossman, bassist for The Divinyls and Hoodoo Gurus along with Midnight Oil drummer Rob Hirst and guitar player Martin Rotsey. Their 2004 album ‘Looking for the Sun’ is still considered a hidden gem, with an incredible line-up of musicians that delivered passionate and energetic live shows of the time.

Within Nolan’s music, mysterious and shimmering chords unite his sound. Once quaintly described as ‘Darlinghurst Country’ his sound unites elements of folk, country, rock ‘n’ roll and ambient atmospheres fusing Nolan’s passion for intensely charged electric guitar and finger-picked acoustic guitar.
Jack’s melodic story telling has him right at home performing either solo with just an acoustic guitar or fronting his four piece band.

Jack’s next offering – JINDABYNE – his next LP is set for release in August 2023 sees Nolan hit the road to visit the towns the towns and regions to perform with versatility, either solo, or as a due, trio or full band.
Jack will be performing on the evening with fellow musician Travis New.

The OCB was built In 1912 as Katoomba’s first bank building, converted to the Carrington Saloon Bar in the 1930’s and in 1992 the bar was reopened after a change of ownership and a major renovation of the entire property. Since reopening, The Old City Bank Brasserie has won many awards for offering consistently good quality, innovative Pub food. In 2010 it was inducted into the Australian Hotels Hall of Fame.

Kiwi Born Sydney resident, Singer-songwriter Wayne Gillespie cut his teeth playing London Folk Clubs and Busking in Paris Metros, making the finals of the NZ Music awards in 1984 & 1988 before relocating to Sydney. Gillespie has performed with the likes of Suzanne Vega, Chris Whitley, Stan Ridgeway, Colin Hay, Neil Murray, Ed Keupper, Margaret Urlich, and Dave Dobbyn.

Gillespie released his 6th album FRAZZ with the band Famous Blue Raincoat in 2022. The album FRAZZ is a concoction of Alt/Folk/Rock/Jazz – Tracks with traces of Rock-edge, cheeky surrealism, Jazz juices, Folk reverence, African flavours, Hypnotic grooves and Dark tales. The trio will be playing songs live from the FRAZZ Album!
