Award-winning singer-songwriter Mark Wilkinson returns to the live stage this July with a series of intimate shows, performing in duo mode with Glenn Hopper on keys.

Stripped back and reworked, the duo format brings fresh, dynamic arrangements to Wilkinson’s much loved catalogue. Expect soul-stirring vocals, rich storytelling and spine-tingling moments of raw emotion as he showcases songs from his forthcoming album ‘Love and Loss’.

‘I can’t wait to bring these new songs to the live stage and give my audience a preview of what’s to come. It’ll also be my first time playing as a duo in several years and I’m very excited to add new colour to some of my older tracks and share some brand new arrangements.’

Section A Theatre style seating will be allocated from the front of the stage to the back, based on the order that they are received. Individual group bookings for section A are unlikely to be able to be placed together unless requested at the time of booking.
Section B Cabaret style seating will be allocated tables from the front of the bar area to the back of the room based on the order that bookings are received.
Guests will be emailed their seat allocations prior to the event date.

Mark Wilkinson returns to the live stage this winter with “Spirit & Soul“, his first nation-wide headline tour since 2019. Despite the obvious challenges posed by the pandemic, the last two years have been productive ones for the Sydney based singer-songwriter. Less time on the road has allowed Wilkinson to focus on writing, with a new record slated for release in mid 2022. It will be the first offering of new music from Wilkinson after signing a record deal with Canadian based label Nettwerk Music in late 2021.

“I’m really excited to be partnering with Nettwerk Music and to be back touring after a very stop-start couple of years. It’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect with my Australian supporters and give them a sneak peek at the new music I’ve been working on.”

With record sales in excess of 70,000 copies and millions of streams on Spotify, Wilkinson has built a global following off the strength of his evocative songwriting and powerful live performances, often drawing comparisons to artists like David Gray and Damian Rice.

Mark Wilkinson announces, ‘Hand Picked, Vol. 3’, the newest instalment in his much-loved acoustic series. Available worldwide from Friday February 12th, it continues the tradition of showcasing his songs laid bare, in their most raw and honest form.

It’s a sentiment fans around the world know well, whether they’ve seen Mark on stage, just a man and his guitar, or if they’ve come to discover him through his first two volumes. The original Hand Picked endeared him to tens of thousands with ‘Middle Ground’ broadcast on television throughout Australia and New Zealand. Volume two’s ‘Everything to Me’ found millions more with regular radio rotation across the US and Canada.

Now ‘Hand Picked, Vol. 3’ brings that same intimacy. Recorded on a farm in the NSW Southern Highlands, each song captured as a live take with one microphone, the natural setting of the surrounds adds a beautifully unique sonic texture.

To celebrate the release Mark will be returning to the road, crossing open borders after a long absence, sharing songs from the new album along with many other favourites. Restrictions may mean numbers will be limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
