Gretta Ziller is an Americana Folk Singer/Songwriter with an ever-growing list of musical accolades. Gretta started her career as an Opera singer and Bagpipe Teacher, her vocal style has changed somewhat since then, she does on the odd occasion incorporate bagpipes into her set ... after all, there aren’t many folks that can sing AND play Long Way to the Top !!
But Gretta isn’t just a one trick pony, If you’ve been foolish enough to think you’ve nailed down her sound then prepare to have the rug pulled out from under you. Ziller's roots span jazz, blues, rock, pop and classical, and that eclecticism is reflected in her songwriting. Her sound may bear the hallmarks of classic Americana music but its essence is far more diverse.
Hotel Etico is a family friendly venue. The bar is open from 4pm with bar snacks and pizzas available in the conservatory.
Full menu available in the dining room with Niccolo’s Restaurant open for dinner from 5-9pm.

The Weeping Willows (Laura Coates and Andrew Wrigglesworth) are a couple of old souls, steeped in Bluegrass tradition and draped in Gothic Americana imagery. They regale their audiences with stories of sunshine and romance, God and The Devil, murder and decay. 2017-2022 saw them nominated for 12 x CMAA ‘Golden Guitar’ awards, 4 x Country Music Channel (CMC) awards, 2 x Australian Folk Music Awards (AFMAs), and Live Act of the Year (Country) in the National Live Music Awards (NLMAs). Smith & Jones, a duo from Bathurst, made up of keyboard player and vocalist Abby Smith, with guitarist and vocalist Sophie Jones, have never been ones to follow the pack. Though classified as alt-country, their goal has never been to remain within the confines of any genre, preferring to let their sound and their songs take them where they will. 2022 will see them release new recorded work which looks set to further their reputation as a duo worthy of their high regard as both a live act, and their sensitivity and skill as songwriters and recording artists.

Darren "D.C" Cross (Gerling, Jep and Dep) is an Australian guitarist and storyteller, just off the back of supporting Ed Kuepper and Jim White, Mess-esque, JIm White and Marisa Anderson, The Apartments and Ryley Walker, Darren is psyched to return to the Blue Mountains.
Cross’ music is inspired by the 1960’s and 1970’s mainstays of American and British acoustic guitar (John Fahey, Roy Harper, Leo Kottke, Elizabeth Cotton, Nick Drake, Bert Jansch) but he is consciously forging his own musical identity within an Australian landscape.
Darren has just released his third solo D.C Cross album ‘Hot-wire the Lay-low (Australian Escapist pieces for guitar) which was written in and inspired by rural N.S.W.
Cross has been creating music for the last 25 years, from Gerling to Jep and Dep, and has written songs with Kool Keith and Kylie Minogue. He has played shows with artists ranging from Beastie Boys, Beck, and Happy Monday to Johnny Marr, Courtney Barnett and, Ryley Walker.
Fiercely independent, totally devoted, loves telling a story and is always threatening to conquer up something magical with the guitar.

Singer-songwriter, composer and artist Jodi Phillis (The Clouds, Dearhunters, Roger Loves Betty) is releasing her 6th solo album, ‘We Need To Be Free’ in June 2022 through Melbourne based Cheersquad Records. To celebrate its release, Jodi is touring the Eastern states of Australia with her talented band – featuring guitarist, composer Damien Lane, Matt Steffen and Phil Lally, to perform her uniquely haunting, country-tinged, chamber folk-pop songs that are sure to evoke tears and ecstasy.
Sharing the bill with Jodi and her band on the night are King Curly in full band mode featuring Blue Mountains local Steve Appel, a long-time enigma of original Australian music with his songs that bring to life avenging zombies, ukulele bumblebees, possessed pianos and a certain air of quiet, small town romance, against an impossibly beautiful backdrop of chook-shed instrumentation. The band also features Steve Grieve on guitars and Johnny Graffham on pedal steel.
This is a special night of masterful music not to be missed, from two of Australia’s most unique singer songwriters.
